Hunter Run Day Tour
Leaving from Scone, we travel past the world renowned horse studs of the region and through the historic village of Gundy. Weaving our way along the banks of the Isis, Pages and Hunter Rivers, we pass by the historic Belltrees station and on to the village of Moonan Flat. Stopping off for a cup of tea and biscuits, we take a farm stroll around the 100 year old apple orchard, sampling the best cider the trees have to offer. From here, we wind our way upwards into the world heritage listed Barrington Tops National Park and State Forest where we will hunt for the source of the Hunter River. Travelling across from Tomalla Station to Poleblue Swap, we will take in the breathtaking views the Hunter Valley has to offer and the unique natural wonders that lay at Scones backdoor.
